Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 21, 2025

TL;DR: Swosh shows ads to support free gameplay. We use Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect device identifiers for personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads. Your game progress stays on your device. We don't collect or store your personal information directly.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

  • Game progress and level completion status
  • Game settings and preferences
  • High scores and achievements
  • Premium purchase status

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

1.2 Advertising Data (Collected by Google AdMob)

To support free gameplay, Swosh displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

  • Device identifiers (IDFA - Identifier for Advertisers)
  • Device information (device type, OS version)
  • Ad interaction data (ad views, clicks)
  • General location (country/region, derived from IP address)

This data is collected and processed by Google AdMob for:

  • Showing personalized advertisements
  • Measuring ad performance
  • Preventing fraud

We do not have access to this data. It is collected, processed, and stored by Google according to their privacy policy.

2. Your Privacy Choices

2.1 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

When you first launch Swosh, you'll see a prompt asking for permission to track your activity across other apps and websites. This is required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

If you allow tracking:

  • AdMob can use your IDFA to show personalized ads based on your interests
  • Ads may be more relevant to you

If you deny tracking:

  • AdMob will show non-personalized (contextual) ads instead
  • You'll still see the same number of ads, but they won't be tailored to your interests

You can change this setting anytime in: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Swosh

2.2 Premium Version (No Ads)

You can purchase the Premium version to remove all advertisements. Once purchased, no advertising data is collected.

3. How We Use Information

3.1 Data We Collect Directly

None. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information directly.
